Photo Hunt 14: Shoes

PSHunt

It's photo hunt time. I thought I wouldn't make it. Had a lot of errands to do today and the past days. But will I ever miss my weekly photo posting? Nope. :)

Shoes is the theme. I love shoes. I have so many shoes, and it follows that it's the same thing with my only daughter. I love buying her shoes, all kinds. And I am a pack rat kind of mom when it comes to my daughter's things. I kept almost everything she used when she was a baby.

Like this one...presenting the shoes she used on her first birthday, a yellow Sesame Street shoes featuring Big Bird. Her first stuffed toy was also Big Bird. :)

Not even the toes fit now. Of course, my daughter's going nine years old already this year. :)

Oh, aren't those adorable? And a perfect shot to show just how fast they grow!

Cute! My children had several Sesame Street pairs too. Maybe its because we grew up watching these tv shows.

Mine is up too! Have a great Sunday, Lynn!

They do grow up so fast. My Mom had my first pair of shoes bronzed, course they weren't Big Bird cool, they were just plain 'ol shoes.

Awww, cute shoes. Guess you'll just have to have the tiny baby feet as a memory. That is an awesome way to show how much she's grown!
Thanks for visiting my site!

What a lovely picture!

My daughter still tries to squeeze her feet into her baby shoes. It's not going to happen I tell you.

My daughter loves shoes just like her mommy.

The grow so quickly. Sassy yellow shoes though.

Such bright, colorful shoes. Kids can get away with those fun characters and look adorable! The way you shot it with the shoes on top of a pile of more ordinary ones was very creative!

Thanks for dropping by and choosing your favorite shoe shot at my blog!

Awwww, they grow too fast, don't they? My daughter was born in Japan and she had some really cute Mickey Mouse shoes that were adorable. I don't save everything, but I think I might have those. Makes me misty. She's 19yo now!

Ahhh...I love keepsake items like that! I recent had the boys compare a tiger cub scout shirt I had saved to how big they are now.

On my return visits rather late - had a busy weekend. Thanks for stopping by to see my hunt.

Those shoes are really yellow! Wondering what did she wear with them :D And that was a brillian idea to show how big her foot is now! Puts things neatly into perspective...
