Long Walk, Long Strand
All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go. I'm standin' here outside your door...If I may borrow these lines from Jewel's song, Leaving on a Jet Plane. We're not leaving here through a jet plane but through the resort's service vehicle.
This was taken from Dos Palmas, the beautiful resort in Palawan. It's early in the morning on our fourth and last day of stay. Baggages were positioned in front of the beach villas so the drivers can pick them up and send them ahead to Puerto Princesa where we are booked in another hotel for the Underground River trip (more on that in another post).
It's a long road from the beach villas going to the resort's reception area. Plus the fact that baggages are heavy with all the souvenirs we bought from the island, I wouldn't want that long walk.
In an unrelated story, fettucinne noodles are somewhat long which makes it a mess sometimes to eat it. I'm teaching my daughter to cut them first and twirl the fork so the noodles won't slide in her fork.
I'll be out after this post. I'll be going around long posts later. :) Happy weekend! :)

Good thing they had pick up service, I know a suitcase can get heavier the longer you are away from home. Great photos and have a good weekend.
Great ideas for the theme, have a great weekend.
It looks like you are having a great holiday.
great choices for the theme this week. specially the noodles, for long life. he he.
come and visit mine too.
Dos Palmas is a beautiful resort (I googled). Hope to visit it one day. Looking forward to the post on your travel.
The Philippines is a beautiful country. It's a pity many of my Filipino friends don't like holidaying in their own country. I would love to go round the country but they always say there's nothing to see. Glad I'm finding lots of info through Filipino blogs.
Hi Lynn! Haven't been to Dos Palmas yet, pero maganda daw talaga. And that pasta looks yummy. Thanks for dropping by.

Great idea for the theme! Happy photo hunting, and thanks so much for stopping by :)
My daughter loves fettuccini noodles---long indeed.
Beautiful white sand on your long beach!
so, that's Dos Palmas... unarguably beautiful even if the photo was not that of the beach. I wish I could go to Palawan in the future.
The fettucine is a fun photo for the theme. Walking any distance with luggage seems long...
Great pictures. Thanks for visiting!
I hope you had a fun vacation! And those noodles look yummy!!!!!

Oh goody - a long food photo - now I am hungry :)
Alas, Blogger (Google) has decided that those of us from different platforms (I am from Wordpress) should not be able to leave links to our own blog. So I have to be either a nonnymouse or a nicked name. So while visiting and appreciating your site is still a joy, it is now quite hard to leave a comment. Please forgive me if I appear to go silent until they fix this problem.
That's a great choice for long. Especially the food, looks very yummy.
Palawan is so lovely and this is in our wish list of places to visit :)
Yummy pasta!
Have a great Sunday, Lynn :)

CESS, haha! Masarap talaga sa Dos Palmas. I often share my pictures from Dos Palmas. But what's really exciting was after that Dos Palmas trip is the visit of the Underground River. Will post about it. :D
