Photo Hunt 3: Empty

PSHunt

This is a hallway of Caleruega Church in Tagaytay City. This church is famous for its serenity and nice landscape. Most dream weddings are held here. About two hours away from Manila, it's a frequent destination for Catholics and non-Catholics for some contemplation and sightseeing.

An empty bench. I can feel its emptiness. Taken from the balcony of my colleagues' house in Tagaytay. You can tell that I'm a frequent visitor of that city. :)

**********

The clock just hit 12:00 midnight, March 24. It's supposed to be a 'world shutdown of computers day'. It's an experiment to see if we can do that and what will happen if we do that. I'm not 100% sure I can do that since mostly, it's only during weekends that I get to go online. But I have an appointment with my orthodontist-bestfriend in the morning and will have a tooth extraction. So I have to rest in the afternoon and will probably catch up on my movie backlogs.

So far from the survey in the site, "I can" is a lot, lot higher than "I cannot". Let's see what we will get from this experiment. :)

Happy Friday, Lynn ! How are you ?

I like the idea of shut-down day --I think I can do it !

I liked the pictures you had up on you post -- that hallway looked peaceful, and I wanted to sit down on the bench !

Thank you for coming by my blog to visit, and leaving that nice comment about my feast !

I'll be shutting down so I posted early. Both of these are great shots, but I really like the bench photo.

Very nice photos, great use of the theme. I had my own mini shut down computer day today because we had our electrical meter failed last night. It made me realize how much we take for granted all things electrical....

BEAUTIFUL photographs. They actually illustrate a peace and serenity about being empty that the word alone does not convey. Thank you for stopping by Pollywog Creek and enjoy your day off the Internet!

That is a beautiful church! I would love to sit and meditate on that bench too. I'm wondering: is this computer day the reason I can't find many photo hunts on the blog roll? I'm going thru name after name and nothing!

Hi Lynn.

Thanks for visiting my photo hunt. Sorry for the late visit. I got home a bit late. I'll share about my wonderful day on my blog soon.

That's a beautiful church. You're right, many wonderful weddings have been held there.

Great photos for this week's theme. That empty bench seems like a lonely image but I'm sure it doesn't stay vacant for too long. It looks like a cozy spot for a nice conversation.

Hope everything has gone well with your visit to the orthodontist.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Thanks to all for appreciating my pictures. :)

About the shutdown, no I wasn't able to participate fully. I wanted to visit blogs as a stress reliever after my 1 1/2 hours of dental "torture". :)
