Photo Hunt 13: Art

PSHunt

Dos Palmas by night. This is such a wonderful place. It's as if you don't want to leave the place. Nature is God's work of art. And the talents He gave to the brilliant architects and engineers of this place are obviously put into good use.

Inside the island. They peppered the place with glaring lights. This is one of my unforgettable trips. I mentioned in my Water Photo Hunt entry that this is where I experienced our boat stopped in the middle of the deep blue sea for ten minutes. It felt like forever. But the island is just gorgeous. The island resort is located in Palawan, northwest of its capital, Puerto Princesa. It is one of the sixteen islands nestled in the waters of Honda Bay. If you are into diving, this place is great for you. One can do a lot of sporting activities here or just sit back and marvel at the place with its breathtaking view.

*I did not take this picture but a friend of mine did. I just asked for a copy because I couldn't resist the beautiful shots he did. Please click the pictures if you may for better appreciation. :)

Gorgeous night shots! Looks like a little heaven yes. Especially for us that just have begin to enter the early summer here in Sweden. It's still a bit chilly here.

I wonder if we're ever going to the Philippines - sometime in the future... We nearly went there in 2005, but got sick with Pneumonia and had to cancelled. We have friends that go there every winter, to Mindoro and they made us wanna go there :-)

MAIYLAH, Yup, the second picture was taken at sunset. :)

CALLIE ANN, INCOG & NITO, A., MOUSEY, Come and visit the Philippines. We have a lot of great places like this to visit and really enjoy! (By the way, I am not from the Dept of Tourism). :)

JULIE, Maganda ang Palawan. The last frontier as they say. I have visited the Underground River. Too far but worth it.

CESS, Ako naman what I was a little worried about when we went there is a different thing. But once you get there, you have no choice but to enjoy the place. It's that beautiful.

JOSE, Thanks! Get one, quick! :)

DIANE, You mentioned about the stars so I checked them again. There are stars indeed! :)

SALEN, Thanks! Take a vacation with your hubby! :)

CAPTAIN LIFECRUISER, Little heaven, that's a perfect description. I do hope you come and visit the Philippines and explore our beautiful places here. I guess your friends go to Puerto Galera in Mindoro. It's one of the famous getaways here in our country.

I love photography and lighting is a very important aspect. You have artistically captured the lighting in these photos, especially in the water. Very nice!

It looks like a paradise... Maybe I could buy a one-way ticket there and leave all my worries behind me? A tempting idea, sadly the world doesn't work like that.

But it is beautiful. Serene.

What an amazing place. God truly is the Master Artist and his shares his talent with us and through us. Great choice for The Hunt. If it's this beautiful in photos is must be just breathtaking in person.
