Old Fashioned

I have three entries for today's Photo Hunt theme, old fashioned. The picture below was taken last Sunday by my daughter. This serves as one of the displays mounted in a wall of The Old Spaghetti House, a pasta restaurant. This is an old style telephone, see the rotary dial and the huge receiver.

Some dining places have an old fashioned set-up. These two pictures were taken at Sonya's Garden, a famous dining place located at Tagaytay City. Click to enlarge pictures and see the same woman with almost the same pose. It felt a little creepy while I was reviewing the pictures.

GHEE, Yes, Tagaytay is a nice, quick hide away.

IPANEMA, Thanks to my daughter for quickly taking a pic of that phone.

FF, Hehe, I guess she's real. :D

ECL, You've seen a lot of the Philippines. :)

I hadn't thought of an old-fashioned phone. Great choice! The garden looks lovely despite the creepy lady. ;-)

I love that phone! My son has this toy phone cum-bus with a rotary dial on it. And I was commenting the other day to my mother that dear son cannot appreciate the phone because he hasn't seen a real rotary-dialed phone ever.

Those are lovely shots. I like the way some restaurants display old fashioned objects. I feel a little self conscious too when I get people in my shots that seem to stop and are aware I'm taking a picture. You got some good photographs for the theme.

It's so funny, my kids have no idea how to use a rotary dial phone. My daughter saw one once, and she asked, where are the buttons?
